Welcome to our Songwriter's page!

Southeast’s Largest Recording Studio to Showcase Wiregrass Songwriters!

There is an abundance of talent in the Wiregrass area that is going unseen and unheard.  Mediatrax Studios General Manager, McDaniel Borland, has announced a plan to change that with a weekly television show that will showcase singers/songwriters in the Tri-states area.  Mediatrax Chief Engineer, John Wesley Brown, will coordinate the entire effort.  Studio Technician, Steve M. Page, will work with Brown to assure quality video and audio recording.

Songwriter, Jeff Hale, believes the most genuine part of the music business is watching singers and songwriters work together to capture that magical sound, phrase, or “hook” that makes a song special.  Brown said:  “I especially enjoy the look on their faces when the finished project has been mixed to perfection.  If the writer or artist is good, talented, and a little lucky, they may be one of those who have a hit that is played on the radio.”

Mediatrax Studios’ goal is to create a singer/songwriter community.  To accomplish that, Mediatrax will provide the opportunity for writers, musicians, and performers to showcase their original work.  New venues such as Country Crossing coming into the Wiregrass area will host some of the greatest singer/songwriters of all time.  Mediatrax looks forward to helping expose local talent so they may have a chance to experience that level of success.

Beginning night, October 22, 2009, Mediatrax will film live at Cowboy’s in Dothan, Alabama.  Brown encourages all singer/songwriters to go to Cowboy’s every Thursday evening for “open mic night”.   Participants should carry with them as many supporters as possible to cheer them on.

Locted right here in the Wiregrass, Mediatrax has everything major studios in Nashville, Atlanta, or any other cities have.  Studio musicians and singers are also available.

For writers who have great lyrics and need those words put to music, Mediatrax offers full assistance.  Mediatrax offers services to singers/songwriters who need to take their acoustical product to the next level.

Everyday Before Tomorrow

This song is called "Everyday Before Tomorrow". It was written by songwriter Jeff Hale. He brought us the lyrics and we took them and made it into something wonderful. We hired Nashville Recording Artists' Bo Brannon and Christie Lynn to sing the songs. The music was written by none other than Mediatrax's own engineer, John Wesley Brown. He also recorded it, mixed it, and produced this song.
